Under this scheme, the central and state governments will provide free laptops to those students who will be eligible and fulfill the conditions prescribed.

Free Laptop Scheme Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility conditions are necessary to take advantage of this scheme:
- The applicant must be a resident of the concerned state.
- The name of the applicant should be in the merit list of 10th or 12th.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
- No one in the family of the applicant should be in a government job.
- The applicant should be enrolled in a recognized technical course, such as B.Tech, Engineering, Computer Course, etc.

- Aadhar Card.
- Residence certificate.
- Income certificate.

Free Laptop Scheme Application Process
To apply for this scheme, applicants have to visit the official website of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE. There can be applied by filling the application form and uploading the required documents.
