PM Scholarship Amount for Boys and Girls
Boys are given Rs.2,500/- and girls are given Rs.3,000/- per month. It is a scholarship scheme uniformly applicable throughout the country, which is fully implemented by the Central Government.
PM Scholarship Yojana 2024-25 Last Date
In the PM Scholarship Scheme, the last date for online application for the session 2024-25 has been fixed as 31 October 2024. Interested students can apply online from the National Scholarship Portal before the last date.
PM Scholarship 2024-2025 Eligibility
- The benefit of the scheme is extended only to the children of Ex-servicemen and Coast Guard.
- To take advantage of the scheme, the student must India a recognized college/college in the . It is necessary to study regularly in the university.
- Scholarships are provided only for higher education in the scheme, so it is mandatory for the student to have a minimum educational qualification class 12 pass.
- Minimum educational qualification level must be obtained at least 60% in class 12.
- If the wife of the ex-serviceman is currently working in any government service, then her children will not be given the benefit of this scheme.
- Children of soldiers who have suffered disability due to military reasons while in combat or service are also eligible for the scheme.

Courses Listed for Scholarships
Under the PM Scholarship Scheme, scholarships are given for graduation and post-graduation after class 12. This scheme includes BA, B.Sc, B.Com and all other Bachelor’s degree courses. Along with this, scholarship amount is also provided for all PG courses for postgraduate and all professional courses after graduation.
Every year 500 students from all over the country are selected as beneficiaries in this scheme. In this, the number of boys and girls is equal i.e. 250 girls and 250 boys are selected in the scheme.
